Role: Entrepreneurship content & product manager

What I worked on: Create and launch a social impact education platform for Virgin’s ecosystem of entrepreneurs to encourage more purpose-led businesses. Work involved collaborations with Business Innovation, University of Nottingham, Virgin StartUp, Virgin Media, Virgin Red and Forum for the Future.

Outcome:

  • 30 participants - 4x oversubscribed & 91% customer satisfaction

  • Presented project at 10 Downing Street

  • Designed and delivered a new social impact award for Pitch to Rich competition - 5 million clicks, 2.5K entries & 100K online votes

Role: Partnership lead

What I worked on: Headed Virgin’s Google for Entrepreneurs (now Google for Startups) partnership and managed Google Hangouts with Richard Branson, sourced guests and prepared topic briefs.

Outcome:

  • 27 million reach & 750K views

Role: Content strategist

What I worked on: Content and search strategy for Johnson & Johnson’s Do Surgery website. This community portal hosted surgical videos to share training and best practices among leading surgeons. Work involved a user journey and content audit, style guide development and in-house editor training.

Outcome:

  • Increased residential training course sales by 15%

Role: Communications manager

What I worked on:

  • Marketing strategy and delivery for NHS 111 helpline rollout across 50 sites

  • Content marketing strategy for winter pressures on A&E, flu and vaccination programmes and campaign evaluation

  • Regional lead responsible for the content marketing and media strategy for the Olympics and Paralympics, reporting directly to LOCOG

  • Content strategy and creation of seven WordPress websites for the new clinical commissioning groups
